I had a wonderful experience with Hinde Haa at The Center for Speech and Swallowing! She provided excellent service and really took the time to teach me and explain all my options. Thanks to her support, breastfeeding my 6-week-old has become so much more comfortable and manageable. Hinde is incredibly knowledgeable and patient — I learned so much during our sessions. I highly recommend her to any new mom who’s breastfeeding or looking for extra guidance.
Highly recommend if you have any issues breastfeeding at any point! I had pain while breastfeeding and noticed my one month old having body tension. Hinde diagnosed her tongue tie, gave me stretches and exercises to do on my baby, along with giving me so much breastfeeeding info! With this being my first time breastfeeding, I came in with such limited knowledge and left only 5 weeks later knowing so much and feeling so confident! We also avoided a tongue tie release and I have zero pain feeding my baby now! Also, she works with the Lactation network and insurance, which made a world of difference for me!
We found Hinde after our pediatrician referred us to a SLP during our baby’s 2 month visit. Our boy was choking 4-5 times when drinking from a bottle. We were able to get in within a few days of calling Hinde’s office. She identified what was going on and got us on the right track within the first visit. With her knowledge, guidance, and exercises we were even able to avoid a tongue tie release. We are so thankful for Hinde and The Center for Speech and Swallowing!
I was referred by my dula and am so grateful! Hinde and team are very knowledgable and practice with intention. I felt the best care plan was developed to meet my son's needs, as well as my goals. My son was able to strengthen his mouth/tongue in preparation for a tongue tie release. Hinde continued to work with us throughout the healing process to achieve efficient feeding. I also had support and guidance with oversupply and frequent mastitis. It was always a conversation of options and possible outcomes. Overall I felt so supported and heard throughout the whole process. Lastly they are a great resource and I was referred to additional professionals (dentist/PT/support group) that could assist with the big picture. If we ever need anything else I know we will go back.
I would recommend anyone with a newborn go here for oral assessment! I had pain while breastfeeding but knew I wanted to keep going. I also noticed my baby having tension. Hinde helped identify my baby had a tongue and lip tie. She gave me exercises, tips, and the best support I could have asked for. With her and Colleen's expertise, only 7 weeks later we "graduated" and both ties are so much better and we avoided having a surgery!! These ladies are amazing at what they do. I love that they work through The Lactation Network as well!
