About The Place for Children with Autism
After working many years in the autism field, founder Daniel Blank felt strongly that a solution needed to address inconsistencies in ABA treatment. The idea was to create a setting that would provide a more consistent environment where kids could receive intensive ABA treatment while also being exposed to the nuances of being in a social environment. Hence, The Place for Children with Autism was born a full-time ABA program provided in a pre-school-like setting. Families could rely on a consistent schedule from day to day, kids were able to engage in spontaneous social opportunities with peers, and therapist retention increased. It was a win-win for everybody! After deciding this was the model that would benefit children the most, The Place for Children with Autism took it a step further and extended resources to help families regardless of their financial ability. Combining resources such as aggressive fundraising and providing grant application assistance, Daniel and his team are able to help families in many underserved communities access the ABA treatment they deserve.
