If you don’t have private insurance there’s no need in applying. Don’t give them your insurance card or id . They will not call you back regarding your application for your child if you don’t have private insurance, the don’t give out grants any longer for your child to attend they’re school . Also if you have Medicaid they will not take your insurance. Private insurance then it’s a session to attend for you to get private insurance through who ever they work with seems very suspicious. The therapy sessions for your child will run you 10,000 to 12,000 weekly the person on the phone said . Which I don’t believe. No one explains anything . they want you to keep filling out paper work and turning in paper work and never call you or seen an email. Seem very unprofessional, your always talking to different people I mean every time you reach out it’s a different person and when you mention the person that gave you a card with their name on it , she seems to never be there . I feel it’s a get rich scheme for these people . But if you have private insurance they will get your child in the school soon as possible. $$$$$ guaranteed. This is a very honest review .

As someone who has worked closely with the Waukegan center, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication, compassion, and clinical integrity this team brings to their work every day. The therapists and BCBAs here are deeply committed to individualized care, making sure each child’s program is built around their unique strengths and goals. The communication with families is consistent, respectful, and transparent, which is essential in building trust and tracking progress. If you're a family exploring ABA therapy, The Place for Children with Autism is a provider that prioritizes both clinical quality and creating a supportive, welcoming environment. While every family's journey is different, this center is a great place to ask questions, feel heard, and know your child is in capable hands.

Warning ⚠️ warning …..⛔️ No one takes accountability in this place specially if something goes wrong. I’ve had two major issues and nobody was able to to resolve. Also, my daughter broke her finger there No apologies from management in this Waukegan location or the corporation in Chicago. My daughters main Therapist was in Kentucky, (virtual )watching her through a camera was never notified that this was going to happen. They’re always shorts staffed and canceling sessions at least one time a week. There’s no one who really runs the Waukegan office. They really need a closer doors . I highly highly do not recommend this place. Please do not send your child here. It’s not a safe place.
