Our daughter received ABA therapy at The Place, and we couldn't be happier with her progress. She has truly thrived thanks to the personalized treatment plans and the incredible care from her entire team. A huge thank you to her BCBA, Marissa Wolfe, for her outstanding leadership, and to the entire therapy team—Mikey, Nya, Ruth, Jon, Chi, Diane, Jacy, and Ari—for their dedication and hard work. Your efforts have made a lasting, positive impact on our daughter's growth and life. We feel so blessed to have had all of you be a part of her journey. We would recommend The Place to any family seeking ABA therapy. We would love to see The Place consider adding an after-school program, similar to what other clinics in town offer, to continue supporting kids with ASD through their kindergarten and primary school years.
My son attended The place for children with autism for about 2 years and has just recently transitioned/graduated to kindergarten… we couldn’t be happier and we give so much credit and thanks to The Place and the staff of the place!! Marissa, Hiram, Chandra, and wow Mikey are just a few of the amazing caring therapists we have had and they have made SUCH a difference in my son’s life! It’s a journey with autistic children that The Place really helps children of course, but parents as well. I couldn’t recommend them more!!! And early intervention/the earlier the better. It really makes a difference! Thank you!!!!
Words cannot express how grateful I am for The Place. My child made incredible progress while attending their program. Staff is amazing and so incredibly caring. Jala is an incredible BCBA! If I could give 10 stars, I would!
Rating is mostly due to accessibility, they don’t let people know how to get to this store downstairs inside of a dead mall. Would love to check out this place, wanted to start by taking the kids to a event, but couldn’t access there with our stroller. Hoping to update my review when they let people know how to access the place. For now however, this is my rating based on my poor experience dragging the kids & walking around this mall, & not being able to get to their building w/my stroller. Doesn’t seem accessible for people with wheelchairs or strollers.
The Place for Children with Autism helped our son tremendously! Our son wasn’t really talking or communicating at all when he started. Now, he can communicate and express his feelings. Therefore, his tantrums are minimal. His flexibility has improved greatly. The only thing we had an issue with was the cancellations due to COVID. The therapists were so patient with him. His BCBA, Ashley, was amazing! She was so helpful and was there with us every step of the way with his transition into kindergarten. We were sad to say goodbye to everyone. If you’re looking for ABA Therapy for your child, I highly recommend The Place for Children with Autism!
The staff was amazing with our Son and the progress he made was life changing. He loved going and even a year after he aged out certain staff members still hold a special place in his heart. My only complaint is that he aged out and we could not have more time there. I hope many more families are able to experience the exceptional care and the amazing growth we have found In our Son as well as ourselves.
