Amazing care and progress for cousin's child! We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience at TIBS for Kids. From the moment we started, the team was warm, professional and truly dedicated to helping our child thrive. The therapists take the time to connect with each child, making therapy fun and engaging. My Cousin's child looks forward to every session! We’ve seen real progress in their skills and confidence. The environment feels welcoming and supportive and TIBS has become like a second home for our family. Thank you to all the amazing staff for their compassion and expertise!
Really disappointed with Tibs for Kids in Woodbridge. They cancel sessions last minute and never communicate properly. There’s no real supervision or admin support — it always feels like nobody’s in charge. Both the in-clinic and telehealth sessions are unorganized and not helpful for my kid. Super unprofessional overall. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for consistent ABA therapy.
This office is a disaster — disorganized, unprofessional, and borderline negligent. In Sept. 2024, I took my son to their Fredericksburg location for evaluations. That team was great — they explained costs, waitlists, and told us he needed Speech and OT twice a week. Since we live in Woodbridge, we scheduled OT at the Woodbridge office for Oct. 2024. That’s where everything fell apart. After his one OT session, we were told “we’ll call you” to schedule the next. They never did. I called multiple times and no one ever answered or got back to me. Eight months passed. No therapy. No communication. My son missed out on vital early intervention because they dropped the ball entirely. Fast forward to today — I needed his records to get him into a school-based program. I tried calling ahead. No answer. So we showed up in person. The front desk acted like we interrupted their whole day. They asked for his name and birthdate, then handed me a blank sheet of paper and told me to write my own release form. No template, just my name, my son's name and dob and to sign. They never asked for my ID to confirm who I was. They stopped me mid-writing and told me to email it instead. They then shredded the paper. I'm pretty sure that's a HIPAA violation. Then they suddenly claimed I owed over $300 for a deductible — never once billed me, emailed me, or mentioned it in the eight months since his last visit. If this was the reason they ghosted us, that’s even worse — I would’ve paid immediately had anyone told me. To make it worse, they put my dad on speakerphone while he gave his card info to cover the bill. They didn't even close the glass window. I had to close it myself to keep his private info from being broadcast to the waiting room. After that, they gave me “all the records” — except they left out notes from his only therapy session. When I asked for it, the front desk acted confused and annoyed. One of them turned to the other and loudly asked, “What’s this kid’s birthday?” in front of other patients. Eventually, they gave me the notes but said they “don’t usually give those out,” like it was a favor. This place is a mess. No communication, no professionalism, no respect for privacy, and no accountability.
This place is absolutely excellent! From the moment you walk in, the location stands out for being super clean and incredibly comfortable for the kids. The therapists here are truly amazing—they have a phenomenal way of connecting and working with the children. We started our journey with Julie, and she was nothing short of fantastic. Now, my son is working with Ms. Stephanie, and she is equally exceptional! He absolutely loves Ms. Stephanie and is always excited and eager to see her and work with her. I couldn’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for dedicated, caring, and professional therapists who truly make a difference!
My son has been coming to Tibs since it was called “Sensational kidz” he was in speech, PT, OT, and ABA. He recently graduated from PT, speech, and ABA and absolutely enjoyed his time there especially at ABA. He has been going since 6 months of age and is now 3.5 years old, we will definitely miss TIBS and their staff! Special shout out to RBT Bushra, my son and her had a great bond and she really made his time at TIBS special. I appreciate each and every therapist that has worked with him and helped him make progress. Now my baby will be off to pre-k!
We absolutely adore TIBS! Ms. Stephanie and Mr. Mike work wonders with Angel, and we have seen amazing progress. Angel always looks forward to his sessions and TIBS feels like our second home. Thank you!
When we first went to TIBS we just received my son’s diagnosis. We had no idea what we were doing when it came to therapies and Julie was always so sweet and caring. She met our son at the evaluation interview and she was so kind! We chose TIBS for Occupational Therapy because my son was comfortable there and he was so happy when we told him that he would go there for therapy. Our first therapist was Stephanie and she was so great with him! Every time it was time for me to pick him up I always heard him laughing and he would always greet me with a huge smile. This facility cares and makes you feel so welcome! I would recommend them to anyone looking for their services!
Our daughter has done OT and Speech Therapy at Tibs. I can't say any negative things about this place! Julie was amazing from the beginning of her OT sessions, all the way to our last one before graduating. The staff there are super friendly, and you can tell they really care about each and every child individually. I always recommend Tibs to any parent looking for an OT or speech therapist.
TIBS is a great place to have your child go to when they are in need of some help. I recommend this place to any parent who is struggling with behavioral issues or need speech therapy. The doctor who helps out is so great! Julie you rock, thank you so much for showing that you care about my child’s needs and address it in a professional and proper manner !
