Had a great virtual appointment with Olga! She was very nice and willing to listen to my concerns.
Olga is a fabulous provider. compassionate and knowledgeable. truly listens to her patients.
Dr. Al Athari is a great psychiatrist. I have been his patients for years now, and I would never see anybody else. He has the magic touch when it comes to understanding what his patients need in terms of care.
Today I got word that Zahra will no longer be with Washington Behavioral Heath, this is a sad day. Zahra you will be truly missed and I genuinely mean that. Truth be told I moved out to D.C. about 5 years ago and the only reason I have stayed with Washington Behavioral Health is because of you Zahra. Well I guess it’s time to find a new clinic in D.C. Wishing you much happiness and success wherever life takes you. Thank you again for all that you have done for me.
Dr. Alathari's practice is well organized with a very professional & friendly staff. All the professional mental health care personnel are thorough, kind & understanding. Their help is always useful in improving their patient's well-being! I have been a patient off & on for about 15 years, and every single moment of need is met fully. I give this practice 5 stars!
Hate to see Zahra Almosawi leave I’ll be following her she’s the BEST
This is the worst place I have ever been. All the reviews about the late appointments are spot on. I was supposed to see Dr. Altahari and was unknowingly passed off to a nurse practioner. I was then accused of being a drug addict despite having my diagnosis from a reputable medical center and requesting a freaking evaluation for graduate school. The psycho lady refused to evaluate me for what I had come in for, but had no issue trying to diagnose me with three other disorders that co-occur with the disorder I already know I have and just needed an update for. I left in tears due to how I was treated. I don't know why I was treated how I was here. When I called to report the nurse practioner, whom was completely unprofessional, the office acted like she didn't exist and I hadn't just been there. Please, do not come here. Seriously. You do not deserve how you're going to be treated here. Update 1/23/26: I still have yet to receive any type of outreach from this organization regarding why I was treated the way I was. The fact that this place feels it's totally acceptable to openly discriminate against their patients for the exact reasons they are seeking treatment with them blows my mind as a Social Worker. It is NOT okay to look at someone asking for their KNOWN and DOCUMENTED disability to be re-diagnosed for grad school purposes and tell them they're an ADDICT because they wanted a DIAGNOSIS. I didn't even ask for medication purposes. Disgusting how this practice protected their employee for what happened. I see several other people have had the same exact experience with the same provider I did. I should have never left this practice in tears the way I did. None of us should have been treated the way we were. WHY IS SHE STILL EMPLOYED?!
