Ms Meika has been a game changer for my son. She met him where he was since day one and has made every session fun, meaningful, and engaging. She has helped him grow confident and has been a huge support for our family too. I trust Ms. Meika like she is family with our son. I cannot recommend TLC enough.
They don’t view the disabled as equals. They don't have the diverse staff to empathetically handle situations that do not align with their culture and class. If you express hurt or anger at their treatment, the gatekeepers refuse service. I cannot recommend TLC to those who need sensitive, culturally competent or trauma informed care. For everyone else, I do believe that they can provide great service. But on two occasions after my review when I contacted them, they did not respond with sensitivity so I do not plan to contact them again and regret that they continue to ask me to. It does not inspire confidence in their sincerity. My insurance company was only paying $14,000 for the services that I required from them, it was not a lot for a case like mine but it doesn't mean I should accept less than full humanity.
Catherine Davey is an amazing occupational therapist! The admin team is great, as is the billing. They are a well oiled machine! I highly recommend.
I went to TLC for hearing aids. The professionalism and care are unmatched. I received great service after my purchase. Micha was exceptionally caring and helpful.
They ain’t all that they keep going through and trying to figure out people’s history without asking, and it’s really annoying to me. They have no right to ask questions about anybody who’s married or what’s going on in their family or in their house.
My son has been attending TTLC for about a year now, and I can confidently say that it has been one of his best speech therapy experiences. The intake process was quick and easy. Although there was a short waitlist, it wasn’t long, and we were able to secure a time slot that worked for us within two months. The staff is wonderful. Even therapists who don’t work directly with my son greet him with huge smiles and show great engagement. My son absolutely loves working with Mr. Joe, his therapist. He gets so excited for speech therapy that when Mr. Joe arrives, my son skips toward him, completely forgetting about me. TTLC also went above and beyond to help our family obtain an AAC device for my son. They handled all the necessary work behind the scenes, gathering relevant information to submit to our insurance. As many parents with children with special needs know, navigating insurance can be quite challenging, especially when it comes to ensuring that they pay for or provide services that we’ve already paid for. TTLC took on that stress and fought on our behalf, for which I am incredibly grateful. My son has shown significant progress, and I couldn’t be happier.
We have been very happy with TLC for our son. He has been going there for feeding therapy for multiple months now and we've seen great progress in him. The environment is very welcoming and super kid-friendly and our therapist Meika is awesome!
